Oranienbaum is one of the oldest Palace and Park ensembles in the history of St. Petersburg. At the beginning of the XVIII century, A.D. Menshikov established a regular Park with a pompous Palace in the center of the composition on the opposite Bank of the Gulf of Finland from Kotlin Island.

Before the tour, you will be met by a guide at the address of your request and escorted to the car. This will start your trip to Oranienbaum with duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the trip you will get acquainted with the history of the city of Lomonosov and learn interesting facts about it.
First, you will start an hour-long tour to the Bolshoy Menshikov Palace. According to the master’s plan, guests arrived at the Palace via the sea channel from the Gulf of Finland. The interiors of the Palace impressed the most discerning visitors.
The tour will continue with an hour and a half walk through the Lower garden and Upper Park of Oranienbaum. Menshikov Palace divides the Park into two parts – the Lower garden and the Upper Park. The garden was decorated with sculptures and fountains. The Lower garden kept its regular appearance until the beginning of the XIX century, after which lawns and picturesque flowerbeds began to appear on its territory. The upper Park is divided into two parts by the ensembles of the Peterstadt fortress and its own dacha. It is worth noting that the picturesque appearance of the Park is successfully complemented by a variety of stone bridges and wooden bridges spanning the river in different parts.
